Oduduwa University Honours Al-Hikmah’s Proprietor
The Founder and Proprietor of Al-Hikmah University, Alhaji (Chief) (Dr.) Abdur-Raheem Oladimeji (OFR), The Jagunmolu of Igbomina Land and Arogundade of Lagos, was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) by the Senate of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodun, Osun State.
The conferment took place on Friday, 17th October, 2014, during the Second Convocation Ceremony of the University.
Alhaji (Chief) Dr. Oladimeji’s enormous contributions to the development of education in Nigeria, most especially the establishment of Al-Hikmah University, are among the factors considered in awarding yet another Honorary Doctorate degree to the renowned philanthropist and business tycoon.
Responding on the occasion, Alhaji (Chief) (Dr.) Oladimeji expressed his gratitude to the Senate of Oduduwa University, families, colleagues and the entire staff of Al-Hikmah University who felicitated with him.
