COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) TRAINING
1.0 PHILOSOPHY
A large proportion of secondary school leavers lack the basic knowledge of Computer Based Test (CBT) which is widely used to conduct test and interview in various entrance examinations to tertiary Institutions such as UTME and Post UTME/screening examination, even though some of them are computer literate.
2.0 AIM
To provide Computer Based Test (CBT) training for prospective candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions through online computer based examination.
3.0 OBJECTIVE
At the end of the training, the trainee should be able to understand how to use computer system for UTME and post UTME/screening examination.
4.0 FEASIBILITY AND VIABILITY
- The training would take place in the ICT Unit and the instructions are readily available to guide the candidates during the training.
- There are eighty (80) functioning computer systems available for the Computer Based Test training and each computer system will be installed with Avalanche CBT software training application for the offline CBT training.
- Hence, all the necessary infrastructure for the take off of the programme are readily available.
