Guidelines for Submission

Ø Manuscripts are accepted only in English.

Ø All manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman using font 12, double line spaced and

not more than 15 pages (including references)  

Ø Manuscripts must be accompanied with abstract of not more than 250 words (including

maximum of four keywords for indexing purposes).

Ø The cover page of the manuscripts to be submitted should include the title of the work (in

capital letter), name(s) of the author(s), affiliated institution(s), e-mail address and phone

number.

Ø Manuscript preparation must follow the publication manual of the American Psychological

Association (APA Latest Edition).  

Ø Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: introduction; literature review;

purpose of the study; research questions/hypotheses, methodology; results; discussion;

conclusion; recommendations and references

Ø A covering letter clearly certifying that the manuscript is original and has neither been

published anywhere nor is being considered for any other publication, should accompany the

manuscript.

Ø All manuscripts should be sent via email to: [email protected]. However, where

this is not possible, contributors are required to send two hard copies and a soft copy of the

manuscript to the Managing Editor.

Ø All correspondence should be addressed to the Managing Editor, Al-Hikmah Journal of

Educational Management and Counselling (AJEMC), Faculty of Education, Al-Hikmah University,

Ilorin, Nigeria.
